With a view to teach the Belmont Community about the art of cooking, and the value of fresh food, Belmont Forum brings the cream of Perth’s culinary industry to the new Forum Fresh Kitchen.
To celebrate the opening of Belmont Forum’s new fresh food precinct, ‘Forum Fresh’, the Centre is welcoming chefs from some of Perth’s finest establishments, as well as renowned cooking teachers to deliver invaluable cooking skills to the local community.
“We aim to encourage our customers to embrace the fantastic variety of fresh foods on offer to them at our local green grocers, butchers, bakeries and more. We hope that the knowledge of how to prepare delicious food will empower and excite people to cook fresh food in their own homes more often,” said Sarah Moore, Belmont Forum Marketing Manager.
Josh Catalano, former Masterchef contestant and co-owner of Catalano Seafood says, “The best way to learn to cook is by having fun! So the pop-up kitchen will be an educational, yet most of all, an enjoyable experience for the Belmontcommunity.”
The Forum Fresh Kitchen provides all members of the Belmont community the opportunity to learn and enjoy cooking simple, healthy and delicious recipes, from Perth’s most sought after chefs no less!
Along with the Forum Fresh Kitchen, Belmont Forum recently launched Camp Cuisine, a school holiday program designed to excite local children about diverse and delicious food. The premise of the program is that learning to select seasonal produce, and creating a link between the source, sale and service of food helps them to make informed choices.
