The charge will be led by British chef Marco Pierre White , the world’s first ever celebrity chef and the youngest chef ever to be awarded three Michelin stars. Marco Pierre White, best-known to Australian viewers as a judge on Australian Masterchef and on Hell’s Kitchen , will be joined by legendary Australian restaurateur Neil Perry for what promises to be an unforgettable gastronomic experience. Chef Marco and Chef Neil will be hosting a Good Food Month special event at Rockpool Bar & Grill at Crown Perth, Thursday 15 March, and is just one event amongst many that will have Perth bursting at the seams with Good Food Month’s packed programme of foodie events.

The Night Noodle Markets return to the City of Perth from March 16 to 25. Some of this year’s stallholders include Perth’s very own Bunga Raya Satay, Saigon Eats, The Modern Eatery, Bangkok Jump Street & Gyoza Joint. These local gems will be joined by Hoy Pinoy, Twistto, Shallot Thai, Waffleland, Sambal Kampung, Donburi Station, Miss Chows and Teppanyaki Noodles. Perth has fallen in love with the sizzling sights and smells of the markets with its fresh, fluffy bao, sticky skewers of smoked hot meat, refreshing drinks and delicious desserts. To make things quick and easy, the markets are also cash-free so guests can spend less time queuing and more time enjoying the night.

Venessa Cowell, Director of Food Events, Fairfax Media said: “Good Food Month loves Perth. The conditions are absolutely perfect to bring out the very best; the nights balmier and the local produce is, literally, some of the finest in the world. A burgeoning food scene over the past decade has exploded with talent. Good Food Month will celebrate this in its fourth year in Perth, focusing on rising WA stars, an International highlight with Marco Pierre White and our strongest program of culinary events yet.”
