The Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre will host the WA Oceanafest 2015, presented by the Australian Culinary Federation, from the 5th to the 7th of July.
WA Oceanafest, Australia’s only International culinary competition, will consist of international teams competing in a live restaurant environment and individual chefs competing in live cookery and food and beverage competitions.
This year, the event will introduce a hospitality trade show, an exciting opportunity for businesses to showcase their products and services to an International market.
Chairperson of Oceanafest, Patrick O’Brien tells, “This is an exciting culinary event, which has been in existence for 16 years, and 2015 will be the best year yet with the introduction of the first ever trade show.”
Mr O’Brien continues, “The new trade show will give opportunities to all hospitality suppliers to exhibit their products to the Western Australian Hospitality Industry.”
The event is also hosting two cooking competitions – the Restaurant of Champions and Salon Culinaire – which will see teams and individual chefs compete against one another representing their countries and/or employers.
Entry is free to the event, which will also host an opening and closing ceremony on the 4th and 8th of July.
